Good to know
From what age is a cabin bed or a floor bed suitable?
As soon as the child leaves the cot, often around 15-18 months. The low bed lets them climb in and out on their own, safely, and encourages independence at bedtime.
Isn’t a low bed risky when it comes to falls?
On the contrary: right at floor level and with no bars to climb over, there is no fall from height. A bedside rug or a mat is enough to cushion the first few months.
Which mattress for a cabin bed 60 × 120 (or larger)?
A firm mattress in the dimensions of the bed. We build to standard sizes so you can freely choose your mattress (coco-latex, firm foam…).
Does the bed grow with the child?
Yes. The Tree Bed is a growing cabin designed to accompany the child from early childhood through the school years. And since everything is easy to look after, it lasts.
Where are Elysta beds made?
In our workshop in Andenne, Belgium — in birch plywood, with healthy finishes (water-based varnish). No reselling of imports.
