The Elypik Tortoise module is a free-movement module from the LAE – The Adventures of Ely universe.
Designed as an exploration companion, it invites the child to move, climb, crawl, go underneath, cross an obstacle or hide. Its low, soft and rounded shape allows for reassuring use, suited to first motor discoveries.
Inspired by the Pikler approach, the Elypik Tortoise lets the child freely experiment with their movements without any imposed use. It can become a tunnel, a little bridge, a hiding place, an obstacle or a stage in a motor course.
Its connection with The Adventures of Ely brings an extra imaginative dimension: the child doesn't just climb on a module, they step into a universe. The Tortoise becomes a play character, a soft and reassuring landmark, while remaining a genuine support for motor development.
Made from natural birch plywood, the Elypik Tortoise is designed for daily use at home, in a nursery, kindergarten or childcare space. Its large openings, rounded edges and visible joints highlight a robust, natural and durable construction.
