Reading nook & low storage for a nursery

The need

Create a cosy reading nook and child-height storage to foster independence and calm in the nursery's living space.

The constraints

Low, stable furniture accessible to toddlers, sturdy for daily collective use, and consistent with the atmosphere of the place.

Our solution

An arch-cabin reading nook with a seat and book bins that display the books face-out, surrounded by low storage. The child settles in, chooses, takes and puts away their books on their own: the nook becomes a calm landmark of the living space.

Designed and made in our Andenne workshop, to the dimensions of the space.
