Wooden playground on a space theme
Le Cocon · Braine-l’Alleud
The need
Le Cocon, an indoor playground in Braine-l'Alleud, wanted a complete and immersive wooden play world — on a space theme — that would become the identity of the place.
The constraints
Intensive use of a public space, children's safety, and a coherent decor (space theme) rolled out over a large area.
Our solution
A large wooden structure shaped like a spaceship: a netted mezzanine, ladder and slides, tunnels and portholes, cut-out planet, moon and stars, and a climbing wall. Alongside it, a forest of ropes to slalom through and a cosy reading nook beneath a sky of glowing stars.
Manufacturing
Designed in 3D and then made in our workshop in Andenne (plans and CNC cutting), from drawing to installation.

Delivery and installation on site, in Braine-l'Alleud.
The result
An immersive playground for climbing, sliding, squeezing through and dreaming — the signature universe of the place.
