Terms and conditions of sale

1. Seller

2. Scope

These terms apply to any order placed on the site. The customer acknowledges having read and accepted them before confirming their order.

3. Products

Our furniture is made of wood in our workshop in Andenne. We distinguish between standard products (catalogue models) and personalised or made-to-measure products (engraving of a first name, specific dimensions or finishes). The images are as faithful as possible; slight variations in the shade or grain of the wood are inherent to a handcrafted product.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included (Belgian VAT 21%), excluding delivery costs shown before the order is confirmed. SEMEM Art & Design SRL reserves the right to change its prices at any time; the applicable price is the one in effect at the time of the order.

5. Order

The order is firm after confirmation of the basket, acceptance of these T&Cs and confirmation of payment. A confirmation e-mail summarising the order is sent to the customer. As the furniture is made to order, a production time applies (see Delivery).

6. Payment

Payment is made online securely (bank card, Bancontact) through our provider Stripe Payments Europe. SEMEM Art & Design SRL never has access to your full card details. The order is processed after confirmation of payment.

7. Delivery

The terms, zones and timescales are detailed on the Delivery page. Costs are shown before payment.

8. Right of withdrawal

For standard products, the consumer has a period of 14 days to withdraw (see Returns & withdrawal). This right does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalised (art. VI.53 of the Code of Economic Law).

9. Warranty

All our products benefit from the 2-year legal warranty of conformity (see Warranty). Our furniture is moreover designed to be easy to maintain.

10. Personal data

The processing of data is described in our Privacy policy.

11. Disputes & mediation

These T&Cs are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the customer may turn to the Consumer Mediation Service (mediationconsommateur.be) or the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). For any question: info@elysta.be.
